TIG WelderDo you want to develop your skill setDo you want to future proof your careerWe have got an excellent opportunity for an experienced TIG Welder to join a very ambitious company who will help support you in developing your skill set across a variety of areas such as electrics, plumbing, gas, fabrication, project assembly, and more.Our client, who is based in Corby, is a specialist purpose manufacturing company who have a fantastic reputation in delivering for the catering and hospitality industries, and they need you to be able to hit their growth plans. COVID has really acceleratedthis business, their offering, and what their future holds. In essence there has never been a better time to join this company.Your TIG welding skills will be essential, but you will be involved in every project from start to finish, meaning you will not be TIG welding all the time.Job Responsibilities

  • Involved in every project from start to finish
  • TIG welding, welding mainly with aluminium and stainless steel
  • Fabrication
  • First fix gas, electrics, and plumbing (this will be externally certified and training will be provided)
  • Following the CAD drawings to install the catering equipment for clients
  • Utilising hand tools to complete relevant tasks
  • Supporting other members of the team where required
Person SpecificationEssential
  • Must have TIG welding experience
  • Fabrication experience
  • Have your own hand tools
  • Driving licence
  • Read and interpret CAD drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willing to learn and a desire to upskill
Desirable
  • Previous experience with electrics, plumbing, and gas installations
  • Experience within a special purpose manufacturing environment, working on projects from start to finish
Hours of Work and benefits
  • £30,000 to £40,000
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7.30am to 4pm
  • Overtime available
    • Over 47 hoursx1.5
