Job Description

Job Title: Senior IT Support EngineerLocation: LiverpoolSalary: £35,000We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join our clients expanding IT team. As an IT Support Technician you will be responsible for providing technical support to staff, students and other customers. You will be responsible for administering,troubleshooting and resolving system or network problems for the users.Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
Install and monitor computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
Provide technical support to staff, students and 3rd partys
Assist with the setup and maintenance of computers and other IT equipment
Monitor and manage user access rights
Research and recommend hardware and software solutions to improve the system
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of IT documentation

Technical Skill Requirements:

Active Directory, Backup Solutions, IP Telephony, LAN/WAN
Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software
Good understanding of networks, network infrastructure, servers
Experience with Windows operating systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Intune or other MDM
Ability to work well with other IT professionals
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solving
