Job Description

Location:CroydonJob Type:Temporary with potential for permanent placementPay Rate:£34,514 - £51,179 (DOE)anzuk is currently seeking a dedicated and passionateKey Stage 1 Primary Teacherto join one of our good to outstanding rated schools in Croydon. The role is full time, paid to scale, and will be initially on a temporary contract startingfromApril 15th 2024untilJuly 2024, with potential for a permanent placement once the contract concludes.The School:

  • Rated good to outstanding in 2019 OFSTED report
  • A values-led school and ensure that their work is underpinned by the following values: Kindness, Tolerance, Respect, Appreciation, Empathy, Resilience, Responsibility, Integrity, Collaboration and Excellence
  • Create a safe and happyenvironment that inspires curiosity
  • Establish a supportive partnership with parents, carers and governors where they can all assume responsibility for childrens learning
  • Work alongside the school community to enhance children’s learning and further develop the school
  • Roles available in year 1 and year 2
Key Responsibilities of a Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher:
  • Delivering engaging and effective primary education to students
  • Adhering to the schools curriculum and teaching guidelines
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience
  • Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
  • Qualified Primary Teacher status
  • Valid teaching certification in the UK
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A commitment to providing high-quality education
  • A positive attitude and a passion for teaching
  • SEND/behavioural experience would be an advantage but not essential
