Job Description

Reed Business Support are currently recruiting for a Bid Writeron behalf of ourclientbased in Darlington. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality, creative bid responses that effectively communicate win themes and developingengaging tender presentation materials.Benefits:

Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support all bid management activities, ensuring a structured and timely approach to tender responses.
  • Maintain a bid compliance matrix, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
  • Craft high-quality, creative bid responses that effectively communicate win themes.
  • Research market trends to ensure our proposals are relevant and innovative.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather necessary technical information.
  • Uphold document management best practices and ensure proposals meet our formatting and quality standards.
  • Manage and update bid libraries to streamline the proposal process.
  • Identify technical and commercial risks in tenders, consulting with colleagues to mitigate them.
  • Schedule and contribute to bid meetings, ensuring clear communication across the team.
  • Develop engaging tender presentation materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Proven experience in planning, producing, and delivering compliant bids within a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • APMP certification at foundation level or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
