My client is a rapidly growing business, providing key services to the construction industry. Partnering with major constructors on major projects in London and the South East.To support this growth they currently seek an Accounts Assistant to work with the Accounts Manager and the Construction Manager. Key Responsibilities will include:Responsibilities:- Assist with data entry tasks including entry of supplier invoices- Process accounts payable and receivable using accounting software, Xero- Collate sub-contractor timesheets weekly ready for processing- Knowledge of the CIS scheme and compliance- Setting up jobs on Construction Manager- Project costing- Credit card management- Support the Accounts Manager in various administrative tasks- Assist with month-end reporting- Assist in reconciling financial statements and maintaining accurate recordsRequirements:- Proficiency in accounting software, Xero- Experience in data entry- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work by yourself and in a team environment- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
