Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead a small team and be a commercial heartbeat between finance, sales and manufacturing. Highly commercial role supporting the Finance Director in providing critical decision support.Client DetailsMy exclusive client is a well-established company in the manufacturing sector. They are a large business who produce a wide range of products and are part of an international organisation with multiple sites in the UK and Europe.DescriptionThe Finance Business Partner is a critical role in the team, responsible for weekly financial information,regular P&L forecasting, business partnering the Operations function and support to theFinance Director across all site activity. You will provide key financial information forinternal and external communication as required. Duties include:

Putting measures in placed for clear and accurate financial performance reporting
Delivery of sales and operational information on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
Raise and action key business issues
Provide input to the monthly financial pack including sales and operational analysis
Value of stock and depreciation / waste
Support the Finance Director in driving and consolidating budget and forecast process
Assess the business risks and opportunities.
Take specific responsibility for material usage & wastage, standard costing and direct labour analysis.
Product Costing - Ensure the finance team delivers robust and accurate costings for all business
activities
Represent finance in key commercial projects and initiatives.
Ensure that commercial proposals, including NPD, EPD and promotional activities, are robustly appraised
Ensure that capital and non-capital investments are robustly appraised and are consistent with the business objectives.
Ensure that the CAPEX procedure and process is robust, understood and adhered to
Support the Operations function in ensuring that project initiatives are clearly planned into the financial forecast and that delivery is monitored with progress clearly communicated (eg waste & labour initiatives).

ProfileThe successful Senior Finance Business Partner will ideally be

Formally qualified
Experienced in complex manufacturing / FMCG environments
Understand job and product costing, variance analysis, Bill of Materials
Be an excellent communicator and strong team leader
A proven business partner in a similar industry
An Excellent financial analyst with very strong reporting skills.
