Job Description

Challenge-trg Recruitment Ltd is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy. We are currently hiring a Warehouse Operative for our client based at West Hallam Ilkeston so come and join our friendly and growing team as a Warehouse Operative in West Hallam, DE7 6HE. You will be joining a global logistics provider with excellent benefits!Typical hours and pay rates as a Warehouse Operative:Induction and Day Thursday 27/06/2024

  • Pay rate: From £12.30 per hour
  • Shifts Monday - Friday. Every 5 weeks required to work a Sunday - Thursday
  • Rotating shifts AM 06:00 - 14:00 and PM 14:00 - 22:00 switching Weekly between AM and PM hours.
  • Shift patterns and hours are non-negotiable, these are only for placements for Full time shifts on Rotating shift patterns only.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills:
  • Willing to handle Alcohol, i.e wine bottles
  • General labouring duties as a warehouse operative
  • Good level of communication
  • Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
Your role as a Warehouse Operative:
  • Picking and Packing items ready for distribution
  • Using a handheld scanner to sort items
  • Boxing items on a line/station and rework area
  • Manual Lifting involved (up to 23 KG)
  • Unloading & Loading containers
  • Wrapping and Unwrapping Pallets
  • Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
  • Requirements:
  • PPE is required, but we can provide this
