Job Description

As the Digital Solutions Technical Support, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our client SMTGB’s digital solutions. Reporting into the Site Solutions manager you’ll provide a 1st line triage’ service, supportinginternal and external customers on digital solution inquiries. You’ll investigate and help troubleshoot equipment issues involving; Connectivity, Registrations, Activations, Applications, Data feeds and Reports, while assisting technical experts deliver remoteand/or first fix resolutions with equipment breakdown.Other activity:

  • Allocate and manage solution support issues with customers, internal teams and suppliers
  • Identify opportunities to introduce services or solutions to grow solution success
  • Support our client’s customers, sales and service teams to ensure maximum uptime of digital solutions
  • Manage Solution subscriptions and future Saas product offerings
  • Contribute to the enhancement and optimisation of our client’s digital offerings
Skills and Experience
  • Diagnosis and resolution of software issues, especially related to API feeds
  • Knowledge of off-highway machinery telemetry data is ideal
  • Understanding of network communication setup and configuration
  • Experience supporting construction site technologies
  • Basic understanding of GNSS technology
  • Ability to explain complex technical situations to people who are not digital literate
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken English
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
  • Customer Service mindset and proactive approach
  • Troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
