Job Description

HR Advisor Location: Dyce, AberdeenSalary Details: £40k-£45k plus excellent benefits packageThe CompanyEstablished company delivering large and complex subsea projects, with offices in Aberdeen, Oslo, Stavanger, Houston and Dubai.The RoleMain responsibilities:

  • Provide generalist HR support to all stakeholders as well as taking an advisory role on best practices for areas such as recruitment, retention, company policies and procedures, training, employee relations etc.
  • Working as part of the HR team and supporting the HR Manager and other team members on HR Projects and initiatives
  • Provide written and verbal HR advice to stakeholders and ensure the correct and consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the business.
  • Recruitment - including supporting hiring managers, advising on recruitment and selection techniques, monitoring recruitment metrics, arranging and attending careers fairs, co-ordinating the appointment process and onboarding of new employees.
  • Effectively using the HRIS systems
  • Performance evaluation
  • Monthly payroll input
  • Pensions administration
  • Reviewing, administering, and promoting employee benefits.
The successful candidate should:
  • Currently hold or be working towards a level-5 CIPD qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, likely gained within the oil and gas or similar industry.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong Microsoft and HRIS skills
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to integrate effectively within a diverse team.
