Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Global Reinsurance business who are looking for a Claims Technician to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a hybrid working role based in London.This role will consist of providing management and settlement of pre-existing claims as well as dealing with developing claims.Role

Reach out to brokers and cedants for updates on static claims and obtain the status.
Accurately input and update claims data/information in the system following best practices.
Prepare and present clear and concise reports, both written and verbal, to senior management.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with all relevant parties, including cedants, brokers, co-reinsurers, and legal representatives, in managing and analysing reinsurance claim exposures.
Ensure all policy obligations are fulfilled and customers are treated fairly.
Adhere to all compliance requirements, maintain confidentiality, and represent the company by modelling, enforcing, and following all company policies.
Achieve set objectives.

Experience

Analytical Skills
Proven 3-5 years Claims experience
Negotiation skills
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
