This role offers a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience with a rewards package including up to 20% annual bonus, pension plan, employee discounts and flexible benefits, plus 31 days annual leave and 6 bank holidays. We also have a free onsitegym, subsidised restaurant and Costa coffee shop.Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (full time).About the roleThis is an exciting new opportunity to join a market leading Billing Team. We’re looking for someone with experience and the necessary leadership behaviours to drive and embed a best-in-class invoicing service for all Business Stream customers by ensuringtimely and accurate invoicing for customers based on their actual consumption and always be compliant with market regulations.This role will oversee the management of billing with an effective and optimised invoicing schedule to maximise cash flow with minimum customer disputes.Reporting to the Head of Metering & Billing you will lead two Team Managers to deliver against the business objectives and enhance the operations efficiency, maximising revenue and overseeing major initiatives around governance and control.About youPrior experience of working in a similar sized organisation and ideally relevant management expertise of a department that produces bills and invoices will be essential to this role.You will have strong demonstratable experience in operational management, customer interaction, successful stakeholder management and strong people abilities, particularly the ability to train, develop, and inspire a variety of teams.In order to reduce costs, you’ll have the ability to drive process improvements that support the delivery of the key financial and customer satisfaction metrics.You’ll have the necessary leadership qualities, supported by good experience and knowledge that you can utilise to progress improvement and development of the strategy and team.About usBusiness Stream is one of the largest water retailers in the UK and a trusted service provider to over 300,000 business customers.
