Job Description

Class 2 HGV Driver who has a CPC and Digi Card is required to carry out deliveries for a family freight, transport and logistics company based in Ely, Cambridgeshire.Tramper and Non-Tramper Positions AvailableThe company has various positions available. So, if you’re a Tramper or would like to be home every night, they will have a driving role to suit your needs.We have Tramper (Nights Out) and Non-Tramper (Day Jobs ad No Nights Out) Vacancies Available.SALARY: £13 per hour - breaks are paidSUPPLEMENTAL PAY:

  • Bonus scheme
  • Loyalty bonus
  • Yearly bonus
  • Weekend rates vary depending on the job
  • Night out allowance £30 per night out
COMPANY BENEFITS: Holiday Loyalty Bonus Scheme, Company Pension, Mobile Phone Allowance, Onsite Parking, Company Uniform and PPE Provided, Weekly PayLOCATION: Ely, Cambridgeshire - candidates will need to live within a 30-mile radius of Ely CB6JOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentKey Requirements: Full Class 2 HGV Driving Licence, up to date CPC and Digi Card are essential for this roleJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Class 2 HGV Driver who has a CPC and Digi Card.The company run both curtain-sided and refrigeration vehicles and deliver nationwide.Working as the Class 2 HGV Driver you will transport goods efficiently and punctually to designated locations, ensuring delivery paperwork is signed off and logged correctly.As the Class 2 HGV Driver you will be required to ensure that loads are strapped and secure, deliveries arrive on time and vehicle checks are completed before and after each journey, reporting any issues promptly.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSAs the Class 2 HGV Driver you will have the following experience and licences:
  • Full Class 2 Driving Licence
  • CPC Card
  • Digi Card
  • Good communication skills
  • Live within a 30-mile radius of Ely, Cambridgeshire CB6
