Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a large housing association who require a caretakerbased in Exeter, Devon.Salary-£24,011 per yearLocation-DevonVacancy type-PermanentClosing Date-11 June 2024The role:As aCaretakeryoull be making sure our customers homes are safe, well maintained and compliant.What youll be doing:

  • Make regular visits to our sites across Devon
  • Carry out tasks such as litter picking, rubbish removal and leaf removal
  • Performing joint visits with colleagues from across the business
  • General maintenance tasks
  • Carry out fire risk actions including removing personal items from internal areas
  • Serving TORTS notices where required
Youll be able to manage your time effectively and work well independently using your own initiative.Whilst previous experience would be desirable, full training will be provided along with a van and equipment.A full driving licence and at least a years driving experience is essential.What we can offer youAs a member of the Estates Team youll be part of a friendly and dedicated working environment.We invest in our people, and you will be able to develop your skills and be part of something that makes a real difference to peoples lives.
