Learning MentorRole: Learning Mentor - SEN SchoolLocation: Exeter EX2Vacancy: Full-time, long term placement covering a perm vacancy which you can apply for.Start date: ASAPSalary: £85 to £95 per dayTimeplan Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning Mentor to work in a secondary SEN school in Exeter. The school supports pupils with ASC, SEMH and moderate learning needs with a strong pupil centric approach and are very passionateabout ensuring all SEN pupils have the right support.Working within a class of 8 pupils, you will be supporting students that have anxiety, sensory needs and moderate learning needs where you will assist in the planning of their lessons alongside the teacher. You will also support students on a 1-1 basis withinthe classroom helping build their confidence and being a mentor to them. For this role it is very important that you have prior experience of supporting children or young people with learning needs.Hours are 8.40am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
