Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this growing and prominent Folkestone-based firm of Accountants who have grown rapidly over the last five to seven years.They deliver a thriving outsourced offering that includes: bookkeeping, VAT/CIS returns, management accounts and bookkeeping.Joining this firm as a Practice Bookkeeper based at their offices in Folkestone, you will carve a key, hands-on role, as you develop within this firm and environment.Acting for varied sole traders, partnerships and limited company SMEs and OMBs of varying size and industry sectors, you will deliver bookkeeping, support with management accounts, VAT, and other services to mixed clients.

Preparing financial data up to trial balance
Double-entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
Prepayments and accruals
VAT returns
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Payroll processing

Requirements

AAT qualified, studying, or qualified by experience
Strong Xero, Sage 50 or QuickBooks software experience
Good knowledge of Excel
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision.
