CNC MachinistLocation: GatesheadKey Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical blueprints.
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines with a primary focus on turning operations.
Utilise your expertise in operating Puma 400 and Puma 700 machines.
Perform milling operations, with experience on Haas machinery being a significant advantage (ST 30, VF2, Super Mini Mill).
Operate Mazatrol systems as needed.
Ensure precision and quality of machined components through meticulous attention to detail.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain optimal production flow.
Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a strong ability to learn and adapt to new products and processes within 1-2 months.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Time-Served CNC Machinist.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Extensive experience programming, setting up, and running CNC machines.
Strong turning bias with additional milling experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Puma 400 and Puma 700 machines.
Familiarity with Haas machinery (ST 30, VF2, Super Mini Mill) is a significant advantage.
Experience with Mazatrol programming is a plus.
Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
