Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service Advisor and Data ProcessorLocation: Felling, GatesheadDuration: ASAP until 20th December 2024 (with pay until 27th December 2024)Our client is looking for a dynamic individual to support their team during peak periods, ensuring that customers continue to receive a great level of service even during their busiest of times. The role involves both customer service and data processingduties.Responsibilities:Customer Service Advisor Duties:

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Make outbound contact with customers as required to resolve issues or provide updates.
  • Provide accurate information and support to customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage the parcel exception process, contacting customers to alert them of failed delivery attempts and working to minimise the return rate.
Data Processor Duties:
  • Assist the Office Administrator with manual order processing for larger business customers.
  • Ensure all data is entered accurately and efficiently into the system.
  • Maintain and update customer records as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Key Skills Required:
  • Customer Service: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
  • Data Entry: High attention to detail with strong data entry skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and customer service platforms (e.g., CRM systems, live chat tools).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think proactively and handle issues efficiently.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is essential.
  • Experience with data processing or order management is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to the role through the end of the year.
