Job Description

Our client, based in Warwickshire, is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis.The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with one day a fortnight in the office required. The basic salary is £30,000-£35,000 + OTE & benefits.The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset and take ownership to learn about products and servicesDuties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Proactively identify new opportunities: open, nurture, pursue and close sales leads with new and current clients
  • Create strategic sales and account management plans and execute against them
  • Effectively and efficiently manage a pipeline
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Accurate and timely reporting of forecasts, pipelines and orders against plan
Experience required:
  • Experience in a similar account executive/business development role in a growing technology, software or solutions related business
  • Experience of selling software-as-a-service solutions
  • Excellent communication skills - talking and listening - across all media including telephone, email, social, video and in-person
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
  • Proficient user of CRM systems
  • Confident and competent user of the Microsoft Office suite especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
