Purpose of the RoleTo ensure the centre is maintained in such a way that all rubbish is removed regularly and that the centre is machine washed daily, including cleaning all internal and external low level glass. To ensure that any food or liquid spillages are attended toand cleaned, as soon as possible.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible to: Asst. Operations Manager / Cleaning and Security ManagerMain Duties:Act as an Ambassador to the centre at all times by providing an excellent standard of customer service.Undertake the full range of cleaning duties required, such as cleaning, washing, mopping, polishing, vacuuming and dusting, as directed on site inductionRemove refuse from waste bins to appropriate collection points.Removal of all food and liquid spillages.Clean toilets, wall tiles, urinals, basins and shower areas where applicable.Replenish toilet requisites such as hand towels, soap and toilet rollsReport shortages of cleaning materials, such as toilet maintainer etc, to Cleaning Supervisor/Cleaning Manager.Use the full range of cleaning equipment, where appropriate, such as vacuum, floor buffing machine, heavy duty scrubbing machine, wet pick up machine and steam type carpet shampooer as directedRemoval of black marks from tiled areas.Report any faulty equipment to Cleaning Supervisor/Cleaning ManagerDust control mopping.Removal of dust and debris by suction cleaningMachine scrubbing of tiled areas.Clean windows, where applicable.Sanitise telephones, where applicable.Clean kitchen areas, where applicable.Wear uniform and protective clothing as instructed.Complying with all relevant instructions regarding the safe use and storage of cleaning equipment and materials.Complete timesheets and other necessary paperwork.Undertaking the duties in such a way as to cause no hazards to staff or visitors.Cover the duties, and hours, of other cleaning staff such as holiday or sickness, as requiredBe aware of site specific duties.Customer Focus:
