Job Description

  • Annual Salary: £25,600 - £29,700 (DOE)
  • Location: Northfleet, Kent
  • Job Type: Full-time, Monay to Friday 08.30 - 16.30
One the UK’s leading manufacturer in the Metal Industry, are looking for an experienced Administrator who wants to join the payroll team on a permanent basis.This role is crucial to our administration function, offering the opportunity to handle a varietyof tasks and responsibilities. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide administrative support in relation to issuing pension
  • Support with processing payroll - timesheets, hours - need good eye for detail
  • Maintainall relevant payroll master files and adhering to employee contracts.
  • Prepareyear-end payroll returns and P11(d) forms to HMRC (Training will be given if not done)
  • Maintain the Time and Attendance System, including the maintenance of sickness and absence records
  • Liaise withmanagers and the Occupational Health Nurse when there is absences.
  • Book all travel arrangements for personnel, including flights, car hire, conference and accommodation bookings
  • Ensure visitors are signed in and given the relevant induction paperwork to ensure compliant to come on site.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong numeracy skills with experience in processing payroll
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position or business administration qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude to work.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
  • Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated
  • Capable of working unsupervised and meeting tight deadlines.
