Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. Thisrole involves managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACCA or ICAEW qualified
  • Minimum of [2] years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
