Job Description

I am delighted to be partnering with a fantastic client as they add an experienced accounts assistant into the team. This is an ideal role for individuals looking to be transactional experts, taking responsibility of the ledgers. This role will need someone with an eye for detail, yet will be quite a straight forward role for someone with previous strong experience in this remit.Overview of role:This role will assist with the day-to-day financial matters of the business.This is a great opportunity for someone who has transactional experience to be part of a small yet collaborative team. You will be working alongside skilled and supportive colleagues and supervision / guidance will be provided to help you develop and upskillwhere required.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Accounts Payable from new supplier on boarding to processing supplier payment.
  • Managing the Accounts Receivable from new customer onboarding to chasing customer for payment.
  • Processing inter-company invoices and agreeing the inter-company balances.
  • Managing the aging reports, ensure the ledgers are up to date before the month-end.
  • Meeting the month-end cut-off deadline.
  • Support audit investigations and audit work for internal and external auditors.
  • Supporting the business with any ad hoc queries.
Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, able to prioritise a high volume of work & wide range of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and confident in dealing at all levels within an organisation to develop effective and collaborative working relationships.
  • Driven individual with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong team player
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office software with a particular focus on Excel
  • Experience using Navision/Business Central would be an advantage.
