Job Description

Incredible opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax.This prominent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients. From Audit, Accountancy, Taxation, and Business Advice, this firm pride themselves in offering their clients a well-rounded service.As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for a range of clients.
Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
Complete VAT returns.
Bookkeeping duties as and when required.

About you:

2+ Years experience in an Accountancy firm as an Accounts Assistant.
Feel confident liaising with clients and building long-term relationships.
Can be studying towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA.

Whats on offer

32 days annual leave including bank holidays.
Closed for 1 week over Christmas.
Hybrid working will be considered.
Full study support.
Parking on-site.
Salary from £25,000p/a to £30,000p/a.
