Job Description

This is a temporary role reporting to the Technical Manager, the candidate will be responsible for providing quality control support to the manufacturing departments.Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.30pm.Duties will include:

Maintaining a high standard of safety and housekeeping in the laboratory
Perform analysis on products, according to defined analytical methods and standard operating procedures
Reviewing packaging and packed product to meet customer requirements
Ensuring loads are correctly labelled and ready for dispatch
Coordinating with Warehouse and Manufacturing
Preparation of samples for HPLC and GC analysis
Preparation samples to customers for dispatch as appropriate
Record and report analytical results to QC staff
Maintain levels of laboratory reagents and consumables
Arrange for correct disposal of laboratory waste

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Quality Control Laboratory or Technical background
Experience in HPLC and GC systems would be advantageous
Computer literate (MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel) and a good communicator
