Job Description

Your Role:As our Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant, youll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring our cash flow remains strong and our customers are delighted with their service. Here’s what you’ll be doing:Credit Control:- Proactively chase late/non-payments via telephone and email, turning outstanding debts into paid invoices.Sales Ledger:- Onboard new customers and manage their accounts seamlessly.- Issue pro-forma invoices and ensure monthly customer statements are timely and accurate.- Retrieve missing Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and handle customer queries with finesse.Sales Order Input:- Process sales orders efficiently on Sage, ensuring our sales pipeline is always up to date.General Responsibilities:- Keep our accounts paperwork organized and easily accessible.- Scan supplier invoices to our server for a seamless digital workflow.- Take on various ad-hoc duties that make every day different and exciting.What We’re Looking For:- Ideally working towards an AAT qualification (we provide full training, so eagerness to learn is key!).- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Sage 50 accounts being a plus.What We Offer:- Competitive salary of £26-£28k based on experience.- The chance to be part of a forward-thinking and growing company.- A supportive team environment that values professional growth.- Comprehensive benefits including: - Private Health Insurance (after qualifying period) - Auto Enrolment Pension - Death in Service Cover - Annual bonus scheme - 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays(Unfortunately, we have no parking on site.
