Role overview:Understand the client requirements for control panels, advise on design, prepare quotations, and deliver jobs within the specifications.Responsibilities:

Understand client requirements and develop project scope for handover to the Design Team.
Assist in preparation of quotes.
Assist the Manufacturing Manager in the preparation of proposals to prospected clients.
Validate project scope, BOM, and technicalities of jobs.
Task Operations for the Procurement of parts to BOM.
Coordinate schedules and collaborate with Panel Builders.
Technically support the Lead Panel Builders and coordinate completion of Drawings updates.
Collaborate with colleagues on Continuous Improvement.
Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS).
Observe the requirements of Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders.
Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services - Panel Wiring / Panel Builder or Mechanical Manufacture Engineering (fitting and assembly) or equivalent Approved Apprenticeship in Panel Wiring /Panel Building.
Degree/HND in Electrical biased Engineering discipline.
Experience in design and assembly of industrial control panels with experience of PLC systems (5+ years required).
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and an understanding of the functionality of electrical switchgear.
