Our client, an established business within the construction industry, are looking for a Project Assistant to join their Operations Team in supporting with House Build projects.- The starting salary from £26,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)- Location: Based in Avonmouth, Bristol - Office-based role- Full-time hours working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per weekCompany benefits include:- Free parking on site- 20 days holiday per year + 3 days off between Christmas and New Year + bank holidays- All employees are offered the Medicash Health Program on completion of 3 months with the business.The Project Assistant role:An administrative-focused role to support the Operations Manager in planning and organising of short Projects as well as ensuring the fitting team meet strict standards of fitting as required by the customer.Projects typically last for 2-4 weeks and are within the construction industry.The role will also ensure that all health and safety needs are met as well as supporting with material and labour requirements in a smooth and efficient manner.Main Duties include:- Day to day running of remedials, including all admin tasks from booking in works, entering data onto system, creating GoFormz and invoicing on completion.- Help organise and manage in-house labour and sub-contractors to carry out work as directed by the Operations Manager.- Ensure all necessary paperwork is received by fitters and prepare contract files to promptly give to Finance ready for invoicing.- Collation of site documents pre & post install.- Support the Operations Manager, to deliver projects under budget, keeping a running costing sheet for each contract to show budget control and effective timely re-costings.- Handling phone calls from sales, sites, and customers.- Help managing the customer care inbox.The ideal person for the Project Assistant role:- Previous experience working on projects ideally within the construction/property sector.- A sound commercial approach to problems and solving them- Excellent communication and people skills- Excellent IT skills.- Experience using Sage and Act would be advantageous.- Driving Licence is advantageousTo apply for the Project Assistant role, please click apply and submit your CV.
