Job Description

A successful, award-winning business is looking for a talented and motivated Account Manager to support and manage and their key retail accounts.We are looking for someone with demonstrated Account Management experience working with Key, Volume or FMCG retailers. Providing exceptional service is so key for this business, so you will be a natural relationship builder, have great organisational skills,be a proactive problem solver, and thrive in a fast paced environment. You’ll be joining a great team of people and a social, friendly business where there is always lots of opportunities for growth and development.Responsibilities will include:
  • Attending meetings with key retailers, representing the brand, and ensuring expectations are not only met but exceeded
  • Managing key and strategic accounts, building strong, positive working relationships
  • Getting to know your accounts in depth in order to fully understand their market and business needs
  • Critical path management to ensure key dates are met for your accounts
  • Working closely with international teams including Buying, Design, NPD and Finance to ensure orders are delivered accurately and swiftly to customer
  • Managing and mentoring the Sales Support Team, including onboarding, training, workload management and development
  • Ensuring all required testing, quality checks and certifications are obtained
  • Ensuring any labelling / packaging requirements are communicated in a timely manner to the wider business to aid swift and accurately delivery
  • Potential for domestic and international travel
Skills & experience required:
  • Wholesale Account Management experience working with leading UK retailers
  • A background working with volume trade accounts / FMCGs and experience in a working on private label product ranges a benefit
  • An excellent communicator both written and verbal, and a natural ability to form good working relationships at all levels both with internally and externally
  • A great multi tasker with the ability to manage complex accounts with high volumes / SKU counts
  • A customer-centric approach and desire to provide outstanding customer experience
  • A proactive problem solver with fantastic attention to detail
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Deadline driven, wanting to take ownership and drive projects forward
  • A great team player!
