Job Title: Quality AdministratorLocation: Ilkeston, DerbyshireDuration: PermanentSalary: £28,000 to £30,000We are currently recruiting for a Quality Administrator based in Ilkeston for a Permanent position based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.Purpose of Job:As part of the Quality team, youll be working closely with various departments to support the compilation of quality documents and records and will report to the Team Leader.Your duties will include processing and checking the accuracy of Production and Quality reports and uploading non-conformance data into our key clients own platforms.As part of this role youll need to be familiar with data entry and the use of spreadsheets, as these will be required to ensure documentation reports are generated and records are kept up to date.Accountabilities/Scope of Work:· Verifying production and quality documentation to ensure the highest standards are maintained.· Prepare NCRs for close out by ensuring repairs are performed and documented to the agreed specifications.· Issuing work to sub-contractors.· Issuing work to the Quality Control Inspectors.· Issue work to the Finishing Team.· Receiving and processing documentation and check sheets.· Use of an internal IT system for maintaining documents.· Maintaining and updating Quality and Customer records.· Compiling daily metrics.· Supporting Client relations by answering and assisting with queries and or requests.· Directing feedback from the Client to relevant departments.· Data entry through the use of spreadsheets and other electronic systems.· Liaising with internal departments to establish updates on product documentation.· Expediating non-conformances through to the client.· Supporting the Quality department with other administrative tasks, as and when required.· Attend daily meetings with your team to ensure efficient running of the departmentSafety Behaviours· Understands and embraces the Companys vision for safety.· Attends safety events as directed and keeps knowledge and awareness of safe working practices up to date.· Is conscious of office safety and wellbeing, with particular regard to lifting objects, trip hazards, fire procedures and the use of electrical equipment.· Never carries out any tasks where not fully trained on that task (or adequately supervised whilst learning).· Holds self and others accountable for complying with safety standards.Knowledge and ExperiencePreferred experience in concrete/pre-cast sector, construction materials or construction sector generally.Knowledge of Company policies, procedures and practices as applies to the role, employment and the minimum standards of behaviour expected from the job holder in relation to:· Health & Safety· Discipline· Attendance & Absence· Sickness· Bullying & Harassment (i.e. behaviour towards colleagues)· Treating others equally and fairly.Qualifications and Training· Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office programmes (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)· Reasonable standard of secondary education· Minimum basic safety trainingPersonal Qualities· Excellent time keeping, attendance and working flexibility.· Good attention to detail.· Results driven· Able to operate at times without direct supervision and using remote communication methods e.g. Microsoft Teams.· Displays personal attributes, which include tenacity, resilience, a positive disposition, a "can-do" attitude, assertiveness & a high degree of determination to succeed.· Able to work well in a team and support new team members.· Good interpersonal and communication skills; written, verbal and remote.--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
