Job Description

Eastern Sporting is a successful and established Country Sports and Clothing Retailer. To support the expansion of the business and the introduction of a new EPOS an Administrative Support Role is sought.The candidate will provide a high-quality level of administrative support to a leading shooting sports and country clothing retailer.The successful candidate should be ambitious, hardworking and have a flexible work ethic as wide variety of work will need to be undertaken.Key areas of responsibility will include;-Initial set up and data upload of new till system.-To manage and maintain EPOS databases (Excel).-Reconciliation of daily till to Xero (our accounting system) entries.-Maintaining supplier pricing databases for purchase order entry and maintaining unrealised stock profit records for uploading into Xero.-To assist in the maintenance of electronic Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) database.-To support Accountancy team with basic financial reports.-The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of Excel.-Ordering for the shop from key suppliers.Knowledge of the UK Sporting trade is not a prerequisite. Full training will be provided.The ability to commute between the Head Office and our shop in Great Baddow, Chelmsford is required.Role progression opportunities are possible, whilst continuing to keep the EPOS and E-commerce updated, after successful completion of a probationary period.
