Job IntroductionFixed Term Contract - 12MonthsPrevious administrativeexperience is strongly desirable.Turning Point has been providing drug and alcohol services to adults and young people in Suffolk since 2015. We aim to increase the number of substance misusing clients entering and successfully completing treatment, reduce substance related harm and improvethe quality of life for our clients, their families, and communities.At Turning Point, we support people across the UK with substance misuse issues. As an Administrator, you will make a real difference to their lives as we develop the personal, flexible, and realistic support packages they need to help turn things around.Where will I be workingYou will be based at the office in Ipswich but will be providing administrative support to our services across Suffolk.Role ResponsibilityMaking sure everything runs smoothly at the heart of our substance misuse service, you’ll support the operation from our Lowestoft office. This will include answering telephone calls, maintaining accurate records and helping continual focus on improvingperformance.This rewarding and varied role will support our teams across the service through a variety of administrative tasks –from data entry to dealing with raising purchase orders, post, stationery, petty cash as well as minute-taking.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a confident communicator who can prioritise a varied workload and provide wide-ranging administrative support – it is vital that you are able to achieve this without losing your methodical attention to detail and accuracy. Making sureeverything runs smoothly will be at the heart of what you do.We are looking for a dynamic, solution focused, problem solving individual with the ability to both follow work instructions and use own initiative. You will be expected to be able to work to set targets and deadlines that the service requires and adhereto policies and regulations. You will be able to manage your time effectively, while equally having the ability to adapt priorities and be flexible.Working closely with our teams across Suffolk, you will deal with a large number of professionals every day and it is therefore important you have the ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner. People skills and ability to maintain confidentialityare crucial.You will have experience with databases and knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
