Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for an IT Manager to join a leading, award-winning business in the Eastern region. With continued growth and expansion of 30% year on year, this is a great opportunity for an IT Manager to join this business, at a time where succession planning for IT Directorship is key. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take technical ownership of the Infrastructure landscape, alongside managing Infrastructure projects and internal / external teams. Hybrid / flexible working with 3 days onsite in Ipswich. Key Responsibilities:

Act as a key influencer of infrastructure design and configuration
Provide leadership, technical support and guidance to the Service Desk team
Previous experience managing MSP/3rd party vendors
Demonstrating excellent technical knowledge within IT Infrastructure – Servers, Networks, Hardware
Direct involvement in incidents or problems (irrespective of priority) that cause service impact and act as escalation point
Ensures that systems, processes and methodologies are maintained, followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery
A track record of owning and delivering Infrastructure / Business Change projects

Preferred technical experience.

Microsoft Windows Server (2016, 2019 and 2022)
O365 administration
Azure and Azure
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Administration.
SQL Server Administration and troubleshooting.
Windows 10 / 11 administration and troubleshooting, along with Windows 10 to 11 migrations.
