OT Security System AnalystUtilitiesHybrid: generally 1 day in Kent and 1 day in Warwick per month and/or when needed12 months£600 per dayIn short: Security System Analyst with Operational Technology experience required to join a large utilities client in securing a specific site in Kent.In full:The Systems Analyst will work in a product owner/service manager capacity to ensure regulatory compliance, system security and resilience of the Operational Technology (OT). As the primary point of contact for all site and control room OT/Cyber related activity,the SA will develop strong working relationships with site teams and system suppliers.The SA will support the end-to-end delivery life cycle including; design, testing, defect management, deployment, and incident resolution.Working closely with suppliers and site engineers, the SA will facilitate the successful delivery of changes and maintenance in a controlled, consistent manner by ensuring all activities are well planned and clearly communicated to all impacted stakeholdersand participants. This will incorporate asset management and documentation updates.The role will include the identification of risks and issues. You will be expected to follow risk management best practice and implement controls that mitigate risks associated with the systems and operational processes at site.The SA will identify opportunities to improve the service offering, working with colleagues to define, prioritise and implement improvements in a controlled and efficient manner.The SA will utilise their specialisms to support project activity. This could include taking ownership of deliverables which support the development and improvement of technology, processes and ways of working.You will work closely with site engineers, security specialists and operators to ensure documentation (including asset registers) controls and processes are updated and maintained when appropriate.Responsibilities:You will be responsible for ensuring that the systems under your purview meet operational and compliance requirements and act as a second line of assurance for one of the other areas. Ensuring systems and their data comply with policy and are maintainedand updated in accordance with policy, working closely with the OT engineers, architects and system owners/users.
