I am seeking a Accounts Assistant to join my clients growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be embarking on their career as an accountant, very likely having graduated this year with a relevant degree subject.This position will offer a full training contract, including support for their studies in either ACCA or CIMA.The role will involve training across the following areas:• Cash allocation• Petty cash requests• Bank reconciliations• Raising invoices / credit notes• Liaising with stakeholders, both internal and external• Processing invoices, supplier reconciliations and dealing with queries• Preparing weekly payment runs• Monthly journal postings• Profit and loss review• Balance sheet reconciliations• Preparation of yearly accounts for auditThis is a fantastic opportunity which will allow the individual to develop into more complex areas of finance as their skill base expands.
