The firm has a well-earned reputation as an Advisor to Entrepreneurs and Owner-Managed SMEs, and provides its clients with expert Accountancy& Business Advisory, Tax and Outsourced Financial Management solutions using a variety of cloud and digital accounting systems to offer clients full visibility and understanding of their financial performance.THE OPPORTUNITYA Senior Accountant position has arisen within the firm which offers responsibility for managing clients, reviewing work completed by junior staff and overseeing delivery of the firms bespoke solutions.As a Senior Accountant your role will involve:

Working closely with SME clients , including owner-managed, family owned and entrepreneurial SME businesses
Reviewing VAT / Bookkeeping and Quarterly Management Accounts prepared by Accounts / Bookkeeping team
Preparing Monthly Management Accounts for growing SME clients
Preparation of Year-end Accounts and Tax Computations
Use of Xero and other online software packages on a daily basis

THE PERSONYou will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

AAT Qualified or ACCA Part-Qualified / ACCA / ACA Qualified
Background within Accountancy Practice (c.3 - 5 years)
Experience of preparing Year-End Accounts and Tax Computations
Experience of working with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
Good working knowledge of Xero and possibly other online / cloud accounting software
