Job Description

** Associate Event Coordinator **Full-time based at the office in Leatherhead - off street parking availableWe are seeking a highly motivated, confident, and detail-oriented individual to join our expanding company as an Associate Event Coordinator.The successful candidate will work alongside our team to gain the knowledge, experience, and understanding within this unique industry, with the opportunity to managing their own accounts and client relationships.** Responsibilities **- Assist Event Coordinators and Directors in fulfilling client bookings from initial enquiry to event completion.- Liaise with clients or their representatives regarding travel, logistics planning, and booking.- Create detailed itineraries and arrange briefing calls.- Perform general office administrative duties.- Attend a wide range of events (in and outside of normal office hours) to gain necessary understanding and experience for the role.- Handle basic enquiries, advising clients and determining individual briefs and budgets.- Research, identify, and contact new clients** Key Tasks **- Client communication and relationship management.- Travel and logistics planning.- Event coordination and support.- Administrative support and office management.- Attendance and participation in industry events and showcases.**Skills and Attributes:**- Self-motivated with the ability to work confidently using your own initiative.- Strong collaborative skills, essential for working in a small team environment.- Ability to remain professional and problem-solve under pressure.- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.- Excellent telephone manner and excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.- Diligent with exceptional attention to detail.- Adaptable, able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Natural aptitude for learning and a strong desire to expand knowledge.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).If your application is successful, you will be contact shortly.The job title and description in this advertisement may differ from the clients official job description/contract .We appreciate your interest in this role.
