Job Description

Site Superintendent

  • Salary: £13.47 per hour
  • Location: LS17, Leeds
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Primary School is seeking a dedicated Site Superintendent to join our committed team. The role involves maintaining school premises to a high standard, ensuring cleanliness, routine maintenance, health and safety, minor repairs, and leading a small teamof cleaners. This position is ideal for candidates who are highly motivated, focused on the best outcomes for children, attentive to detail, and capable of leading and directing a team. Day to Day of the role:
  • Work under the direction of the Headteacher and Facilities and Estates Manager to maintain school premises.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and routine maintenance.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance and conduct minor repairs.
  • Lead and direct a small team of cleaners.
  • Collaborate with staff and external agencies to support the school’s operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Energy and enthusiasm for the role and its challenges.
  • A commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
