Job Description

CASUAL WELDING LECTURERHours: 6-9 PM one evening per weekSalary: £32.27 or £28.81 per hourBenefits: We offer an excellent pension scheme, family friendly policies, opportunities for training and development and an employee discount scheme.

  • Qualified to level 3 in MIG, TIG and ARC welding processes.
  • Can weld plate and pipe in a variety of positions

We truly value our staff who have a key role in supporting and developing our students to achieve their goals.This is a teaching role which involves workshop learning, your priority will be to engage and inspire our students to achieve their full potential. On a typical evening you will be:
  • Demonstrating and teaching practical skills in our Welding workshop
  • Plate welding lap welds, fillet welds, open corner welds in a variety of weld positions
  • Pipe welding 1G,2G, 5G, 6G in all welding processes
  • Carry out destructive testing of students completed welds
