Our client, a leading legal organisation, is seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Solicitor to join their dynamic team in Leeds.About the Role:In this role, you will be part of a national corporate team that provides a wide range of legal services, specialising in corporate transactional work. Key responsibilities include:Managing your own workload of corporate transactional support and company law advisory work for various clientsAssisting other lawyers in the team with their work, supporting lead advisers in transactional mattersDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional and corporate documentsDeveloping and building your own case load of corporate/company law matters while supporting partners with larger projectsAdvising clients on corporate governance and compliance mattersPlaying an active role in business development activitiesAttending client meetings and visiting clients premises when requiredAbout You:To excel in this role, our client is looking for a Corporate Solicitor with the following qualifications and attributes:2+ years of PQE in all aspects of private M&A transactionsHigh level of commercial awareness with strong attention to detail and good drafting skillsConscientious, self-motivated, and hard-workingExcellent communication, organisation, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamPassionate about operational excellence and improving the client experienceExcellent time management and organisation skillsConfident communicator with excellent interpersonal skillsWhy work for our clientOur client is a top-ranking law firm with offices across the UK.
