We are working with an industry leading electronics business who are looking for a Graduate FPGA Design Engineer. FPGA technology is key to the company developing better products for the future and is a key part of the engineering team. The Graduate FPGADesign Engineer will take a lead role in the R&D team and will be responsible for ensuring new and existing FPGA projects are designed efficiently and effectively, meeting specified requirements. The successful candidate will have at least one years industrialexperience on top of their qualification, be able to innovate and deliver in a fast paced and busy environment, and enjoy working on challenging projects. The company have a fantastic training scheme and will buddy you up with experienced engineers to deliverhands-on practical training from your first days with the company.Graduate FPGA Design Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Digital Signal Processing / Electronics / DSP / VHDL / Verilog- Participate in the full-life-cycle product development process from concept through to verification and validation- Produce high quality specification/requirements documentation ensuring technical requirements are clearly defined- Design and verification of FPGAs for new and existing products in close coordination with other members of the R&D team- Support the operations team on an on-going basis to ensure the smooth transition of new and updated products from development through to production- Support the Sales and Marketing team to ensure product specifications and capabilities are understoodGraduate FPGA Design Engineer - Skills and Experience - Digital Signal Processing / Electronics / DSP / VHDL / Verilog- Qualified to degree or equivalent level in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline- One years experience designing FPGA based electronic products in a commercial environment- Experience in FPGA design, VHDL and/or Verilog- Ability to embed processors into FPGA designs- Experience exploring and developing new technologies and architectures- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and suppliersGraduate FPGA Design Engineer, Digital Signal Processing, VHDL, FPGA, Design, Electronics, DSP, VerilogIf this role could appeal, please do apply now!
