Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a high-end textiles manufacturer to recruit a Production Manager, based at their site in Leeds.Salary: £50,000 p.aOur client is looking for a dynamic Production Manager who is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and can motivate a team whilst managing a complex schedule and keeping production on track.The Production Manager will oversee aspects of the manufacturing process and duties will include:

  • Plan, control and co-ordinate factory workload and workforce to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Monitor and achieve output requirements and KPIs
  • Ensure all products meet the customer requirements and adhere to agreed quality standards
  • Development, Management and motivation of the team
  • Drive positive change and promote continuous improvement
  • General people management including, attendance management, performance assessments and recruitment of new team members
To be successful in this Production Manager role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Hands-on managerial experience
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
  • Textile experience would be ideal
  • Demonstratable systems experience and a high-level user of bespoke systems
  • Must be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads
  • Good planner and problem solver
