Job Description

Compliance Analyst, Leicester (Hybrid). Up to £40,000 plus bonus and benefits.Excellent opportunity to join an expanding independent Insurance business that will enable you to further develop your skills/experience and progress your career.As a Compliance Analyst you will provide regulatory risk and technical compliance advice to all areas of the business, supporting the delivery of the Compliance Plan and objectives. Supporting the Compliance Manager in the delivery of technical compliance adviceand support to the business and provide technical and administrative support to the Compliance Team.The role:

  • Assisting in the oversight of compliance processes to ensure appropriate regulatory advice is provided to the business in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Review and arrange sign off for new and replacement insurer agreements.
  • Maintain Conflicts of Interest register and support the business with mitigating conflicts identified.
  • Assist with the delivery of the Annual Compliance Plan.
  • Approval of Marketing and Financial Promotion materials.
  • Investigate and respond to client complaints, seeking manager input where necessary.
  • Review of new and renewal Delegated Authority Agreements and monitoring adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Maintain client TOBAs and agreements in line with company and regulatory changes and best practice.
Youll need:
  • In-depth knowledge gained in general insurance.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of regulatory compliance, FCA rules and guidance.
  • Ability to prioritise work according to regulatory risk.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
