Job Description

Senior Network Engineer / Technical Lead (Cisco MPLS) Leyland to £65kDo you have strong Cisco Networking skills combined with mentoring and project leadership skills You could be progressing your career in a senior / lead Network Engineer role at a global travel brand.As a Senior Network Engineer you will take a lead role within a small team, taking ownership, managing projects and providing technical leadership to three other Network Engineers, with a variety of responsibilities including hands-on BAU, project basedwork and strategy.Youll lead the Network Team during disaster recovery and business continuity operations, define operational procedures, lead and support network delivery across service improvement, technical debt remediation, modernisation roadmaps and initiatives. Youwill identify emerging technologies and services, continually seeking improvement and collaborating with Architecture team develop the network roadmap.Location / WFH: Youll join colleagues in the Leyland office with free onsite gym and restaurant with flexibility to work from home two days a week.About you:

You have experience in a senior Network Engineering position
You have an expert knowledge network administration on Cisco routing, switching and Cisco ASA firewalls
You have experience of network performance tuning and capacity management on critical customer-facing systems
You have a good knowledge of MPLS, Software Defined Networks and WANs (SDWAN, Zero Trust Network, SASE), Border Gateway Protocol, Checkpoint firewalls
You have excellent communication skills including mentoring and coaching, stakeholder management
Certifications preferred: Cisco CCIE, Cisco CCNP
