Job Description

Teacher of Mathematics - Independent SchoolStart Date: September 2024Contract: Permanent, Full TimeSalary: Significantly above the Main Scale, with a generous discretionary bonus for extra-curricular involvement.The school are a distinctive, nurturing school dedicated to up to 120 boys and girls from KS2 to KS4 who face challenges such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. They offer a modified national curriculum tailored to support each students individualneeds, fostering their academic and personal growth in a supportive environment.The school are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics who can:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic Mathematics lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of their students.
  • Create a learning environment that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.
  • Incorporate the schools unique literacy programme into your teaching - no prior experience with dyslexia required, as full training will be provided.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to support student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining detailed records.
