Job Description

Zest Education are working with a busy special educational needs school located in Lichfield to recruit a full-time Classroom Support Assistant.The hours of work will be from Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30. This role is due to begin as soon as possible and will continue on a long term basis. There are also opportunities for September 2024 starts.This inclusive school caters to students aged 11-19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties and disabilities. As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to these students, helping them develop theskills they need to lead happy, healthy, and independent lives.We welcome applications from Teaching Assistants, support workers, and individuals with experience working with adults with special educational needs. Your commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all pupils is essential, along with excellentcommunication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher, assisting students with their work and supporting positive behaviour.
