School facilities managerWavetree, Liverpool£33000-£37000 + Amazing benefits + Pension + Development + holidaysExcellent opportunity for someone with an estates or facilities background from a school to join a leading grammar school that will offer you a role with variety, stability, exciting projects and career development.The facilities manager will have direct line management responsibility for the Estates Team Coordinator, will work closely with service contract leads and support senior leaders in planning, particularly in relation to the entire estate, using best practiceto improve efficiency and reducing operational costs.The ideal candidate will have estates management, facilities management or site management experience from a education. They will also look at someone what is want to move up into a management role.This is a brilliant role for someone who wants long term stability, variety, development and work in a nice building and grounds.The role*Line management responsibility for the Estates Co-ordinator;*Support the Assistant Director of Resources with planning for future development in line with strategic objectives outlined in the School Improvement Plan;*Supervising and coordinating work of contractors;*Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money;*Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core school activity;*Directing, coordinating and planning essential services such as, energy, security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling;*Ensuring estates and cleaning services meet health and safety requirements and comply with legislation;*Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies;The person-*Monday to Friday*37 hours a week*Candidates must have experience working in a school environment.*Have experience as a estates manager, site manager or facilities manager.*Looking for a permanent role.
