You will be responsible for responding to queries from various teams, reviewing monthly account reconciliations, producingyear-end statutory accounts, and assisting with audit processes. Your ability to maintain financial controls while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement will be key to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to supportsenior management with ad-hoc project work.* Review financial reporting information at month end, investigating anomalies and variances* Respond to queries from various teams regarding entity income statements and balance sheets* Review monthly account reconciliations, supporting the overall integrity of financial reporting information* Produce and review year-end statutory accounts for all group entities* Assist with half-year, interim, and year-end audit processes* Review intercompany positions in conjunction with the group treasury function* Maintain financial controls in accordance with policies and procedures* Identify continuous improvement opportunities or developments* Support the Senior Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc project workWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Senior Financial Accountant position is a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. You bring experience of managing or leading teams, demonstrating a proactive approach coupledwith strong analytical skills. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively collaborate and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
