Applications Engineer (Multi-Axis CNC Grinding Machines)Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 + BenefitsLocation - RomfordPosition Summary:As an Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our multi-axis CNC grinding machines. Youll collaborate with cross functional teams, including R&D, production, and customer support, to enhance machine performance, troubleshoot issues,and provide technical expertise.Responsibilities:Machine Optimization: Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and tailor machine settings for optimal performance.Process Development: Develop and refine grinding processes, including wheel selection, feeds, speeds, and coolant strategies.Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, addressing inquiries related to machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Training: Conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers on machine operation, programming, and maintenance.Collaboration: Collaborate with design engineers to improve machine design, reliability, and efficiency.Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including _manuals, guides, and troubleshooting procedures.Qualifications:The Candidate Requirement: Hands on practical experience plus appropriate engineering qualification, Manufacturing Engineering and Product Development or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years working with multi-axis CNC grinding machines.Skills:Proficiency in CNC programming.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of grinding wheel selection, dressing techniques, and coolant management.Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.Willingness to Travel: Worldwide travel to customer sites for installations, training, and support.Benefits:Competitive salary and company performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive health benefits package.Professional development opportunitiesCollaborative work environment.If this opportunity sounds like something of interest, please email Megan (@) huntermasonconsulting .com
