Assist the Bodyshop Manager to oversee all aspects of the Bodyshop, ensuring customer service level agreements (SLAs) and site key performance indicators (KPIs) are met while maximising profitability. Provide estimates for the cost of repair for damagedvehicles.HoursFull time - Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm* Must have experience as a Assistant Bodyshop Manager within an Accident Repair Centre* Have a strong knowledge of the workings of an Automotive Bodyshop* Leadership Qualities and Supervisory Skills* An up-to-date technical knowledge and skills* Strong Communication skills with the ability to understand customer expectations* Ensuring that all vehicles entering the site for repair receive the highest level of attention* Ensuring as an Assistant Bodyshop Manager you motivate the team to take pride in their work and ensure a first-time fix* Maintaining effective relationships with colleagues, insurers, and manufacturers* Taking responsibility for P&L of the Bodyshop* Estimating parts and labour costs to repair damage.* Ordering & Checking stocked parts.* Completing mobile vehicle estimates, assessing the extent of damage to the structural, body, mechanical, electrical and interior components of the vehicle.* Previous experience in a team lead, sup, parts focused role ideally within the automotive industry* A proactive individual eager to get things right first time.* Strong organisational skills with an eye for process* Good IT skills and able to learn new systems and databases quickly.* Have technical skills, knowledge and experience of body and paint repair in the retail motor industry. This is not essential but preferred.
