Key Accountabilities: • Influence strategy and shape the programme approach across a series of projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes. • Drive programme delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks. • Lead definition of staffing, responsibilities and schedules. • Establish effective programme controls and procedures. • Set high expectations concerning quality and put in place quality assurance processes. • Manage relationships with external suppliers. • Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to steering committees and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation. • Provide visible leadership to maintain a focus on how the programme aligns to the change portfolio across Finance. • Drive the adoption of Change Framework standards and work in alignment with it at all times. • Lead the team to meet performance targets aligned to programme objectives (may have line responsibility). Knowledge & Experience: • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, mathematics, related field or equivalent experience • Accounting qualification desirable and/or experience in one or more Finance domains • Relevant professional qualification desirable such as PMP or Prince 2 • Proven and progressive programme or project management experience • Appreciation of portfolio management skills • Strong leadership, management, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills • Excellent influencing skills at all levels and ability to build consensus among a wide range of stakeholders with conflicting priorities • Experience of using Clarity, CA Workbench, SharePoint (desirable but not essential)
